I created the SiteSmith Studio to help startups, solo-prenuers, and small businesses (like mine) launch and grow online with custom sites (and branding) you can actually use.

The SiteSmith Studio proudly bears the most common last name in over 5 countries, literally. While that creates a bit of a challenge in terms of unique branding, after doing my research on the history I couldn’t think of a better, or a more fitting name.

Originating in England, Smith, was first used to refer to those who work with metal. The name evolved to include any job for which specialized skills were required and was given to artisans whose work supported the community in which they lived. The use of it became so common one could find a trusted “Smith” of various trades in any community across the world.

We’re way more interdependent than we realize. Together, SiteSmith Studio will cultivate community, one where all are seen. Where all can thrive.
